It remains unclear when the Senate will take up two competing same-sex marriage bills.</p><p>The advocacy group Rhode Islanders United for Marriage says the mayors of six communities support same-sex marriage: Providence, Warwick, Pawtucket, North Providence, Central Falls and Cumberland.
