Education Dept. Eyes Longer School Days

Providence, RI – The Rhode Island Department of Education is investigating the possibility of extending the minimum length of the school day. The Board of Regents approved the review last night. The review was requested by an influential state lawmaker who says the districts with the shortest days also have the lowest test scores. WRNI?s Martha Bebinger filed this report for Morning Edition.
