Fritz Pollard Rembered

WRNI – The first black All American football player was well known in Rhode Island. Brown University along with the Black Coaches' Association is honoring Fritz Pollard with a new award. Pollard was the first black quaterback to win a National Football Leage Championship and the first black coach in the NFL. WRNI's Deborah Becker discussed Pollard's accomplishments with John Carroll, author of "Fritz Pollard:Pioneer in Racial Advancement."
