Gas prices hold steady in RI
PROVIDENCE, RI – For the second week in a row, gas prices remained unchanged in the Ocean State. Drivers are seeing prices holding steady at $3.51 a gallon for regular unleaded, according to the latest survey from AAA Southern New England.
That’s down $0.13 from how much a gallon of gas cost Rhode Island drivers last month. But it’s still a dime more than drivers in Massachusetts are paying.
Bay State drivers are paying an average $3.41 a gallon for regular unleaded. That’s up a penny from last week. AAA urges drivers in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts to shop around, since the range in gas prices is anywhere from a quarter to $0.50 a gallon.
