WRNI – Opponents of gay marriage say marriages of same-sex couples from other states are not legally valid. The governor of Massachusetts is directing that they not be recorded by the state's registry of vital statistics, but supporters and Rhode Island Attorney General Patrick Lynch say Massachusetts marriages should be recognized here. WRNI's Mark Degon attended the wedding of one Rhode Island couple at Worcester city hall.
