Ortel is a year-round Block Island resident, cyclist, father, husband, and owner of Block Island Sport Shop. Hirsch is a professional cyclist, member of the Block Island Vela Club, and a public defender in NYC. He has been coming to Block Island since he was a child.

Providence, R.I. – Tomorrow morning from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. the Trinity Repertory Company will hold a memorial service for Richard Cumming, one of its own. Bill Gale takes a look back over the years.
