The pantry that feeds nearly 200 families closed down on Tuesday. 

Film buffs only have a few days left to catch a flick at the Cable Car Cinema in Providence. After more than 40 years of screening independent and foreign films, the cinema will close its doors Sunday, May 27th. 

After more than 40 years, Providence’s independent Cable Car Cinema will close its doors next month. One of the theater’s owners, Emily Steffian, is a member of the Community Advisory Board of Rhode Island Public Radio. She and co-owner Daniel Kamil said their decision wasn’t made lightly.

Many high school students take the time to tour colleges a year before graduation. However, as roads, businesses, and schools are closed across Rhode Island due to the weather that was not the case.
